A-1 is a company which is “built to last” and this is because we have always taken values seriously. First, we are committed to integrity and accountability. Since 1998 we have been involved with the Florida Movers and Warehousemen’s Association (FMWA), a non-profit trade association who fosters good business ethics, promotes goodwill among members and makes recommendations about industry legislation. Andy Newitt, A-1’s Director of Business Development, serves as the Chairmen of the FMWA and has led the industry towards transparency and honesty.

Secondly, we customize and personalize each move. We know the details of your move are different from anyone else’s. Your family, your business, your belongings deserve personal attention. Because we are a single office, family business we have the capacity to make your details our priority. You won’t be a number or a cog in a big wheel. You’ll be a friend with individual needs which we will work to meet. You may pay us for a moving service, but what we strive to always offer you is customized, project management and 40+ years of expertise.

Lastly, we participate with the industry and with our community. Katie Klause-Newitt, Vice President of A-1, attends Real Estate gatherings, Chamber of Commerce events and is a member of Executive Women of the Palm Beaches. She stays engaged with local business leaders so she can learn what’s happening in the industry and how A-1 can foster the work of others. We also know the importance of Giving Back to our community. Supporting local charities is part of our DNA. Play for Pink  and Move for Hunger  are two of the organizations we regularly support. Giving to others keeps us grounded and “moving” to put our values into action.
