A-1 To Move Another Labratory

A-1 Moving & Storage has been hired to move the entire contents of the FAU Biology Department at the John D. MacArthur campus. In addition to the Biology Department some of the faculty offices will also be relocated with additional department moves planned for the future.

This move will entail moving approximately 900 square feet of laboratory space and 10 faculty offices. “A-1 Moving & Storage has a great reputation for moving people and specialized equipment. They moved the Scripps Florida group out of the buildings we are going to move into, so it was a natural fit to have them move us,” said Ms April Mistrik the Project Coordinator for FAU. “Their assistance with our pre-move projects has already been outstanding; from the timely delivery of boxes and supplies to the strategic placement of donated equipment and furniture from Scripps.

” A-1 Moving & Storage has been a strong supporter of FAU by being on the Wilkes Honors College Advisory Board for 4 years and by donating moving assistance for those students moving into the residence halls for the past 4 years. We look forward to completing this move, on-time and on-budget, so that the students and faculty of FAU will have a great new lab space when they return.
