Difference

The neighboring towns of Port St. Lucie and Jupiter, Florida have the privilege of being the home to several of the world’s leading bio-technology research institutes. Industry leaders like Torrey Pines Institute for Molecular Studies, The Scripps Research Institute and Max Planck Institute for Neuroscience bring world class academics and researchers from around the globe. We are proud to be part of the story.

Over the last 7 years, we have developed an expertise in biotech and laboratory moving. Handling and transporting expensive and heavy equipment like mass spectrometers, vibration isolation tables and BSC’s takes particular care and forethought. For us, the planning and preparation for your lab move is just as important as the actual move itself. Our team will work with you to determine how best to move your equipment from across the country or down the hall, ensuring their standards are maintained. We have developed relationships with many of the equipment manufacturing companies and can reach out them to support the move, if needed. Additionally, if we discover that you need a specialty service like transporting hazardous materials or frozen specimens, for example, we have partnerships with a variety of experienced companies in order to make your move seamless.

Our Biotech Moving Services May Include:

  • Pre-Move Planning & Preparation: It’s our pleasure to help you manage the hundreds of details involved in moving a laboratory. We begin by arranging planning meetings with all stakeholders involved in the move. Together, we map out the moving route, determine which pieces of equipment require particular handling and equip your researchers with the information and tools they need to properly move their items. If you’re building new laboratories, our teams also have the expertise to help the building designers think about transporting equipment through hallways and doors. We will help you make a detailed plan for your move so that when move day comes, it’s all about execution.
  • Packing: Our teams are experienced in properly packing scientific tools, glassware, instruments and other fragile items. From Autosamplers to Zymometers, our team of packers are experts at properly packing your labs.
  • Specialized Moving: We know that your valuable research is often stored in freezers, dewars and refrigerators. We also know that they sometimes need to be transported while running to keep things cold or frozen and we can make those arrangements for you. We can also assist you with rigging, lifting and heavy hauling services.
